The lean and agile TVS Dazz will be followed a 125cc scooter in India

TVS Dazz was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo
For all those who loved the highly capable Aprilia SR150 but found it quite out-of-reach, you might get a more accessible alternative now as TVS is testing its Dazz scooter at its Hosur facility. The company is likely to launch the new scooter in India soon and it is expected to be priced at around Rs. 55,000 to 60,000. A 125cc scooter may also follow the Dazz in India later.
The scooter looks lean and has large 14-inch wheels same as that of the Aprilia to give to an athletic stance and better rideability as compared to other competitors. With least number of body panels, the scooter appears to be a lightweight machine which will enhance its agility. Narrow indicators on the front apron sit below the squarish headlamp with high set front mudguard giving it a muscular look along with the long travel suspension. On the rear, the sleek body panel flows from footboard to tail lamp which has the design similar to that of the Apache 160.
The TVS Dazz scooter was first introduced in front of viewers at the 2016 Auto Expo after which it was launched in a few markets. It is a 110cc scooter which has been developed in two types, carburetter and fuel-injected among which the latter is expected to arrive in India. The 109.65cc, air-cooled engine develops 8.3 PS and 8.3 Nm in the carburetter mill while it produces 8.7 PS and 8.7 Nm with the FI technology.
TVS currently has the Zest in its 110cc scooter line up. The launch of the Dazz will serve as an alternative to it. The company seems to attract the young masses with the modern design of the scooter. The telescopic forks at the front and monoshock absorber at the rear with front disc brake makes it an attractive package.
