Mahindra currently lends support to three teams in Moto3 Championship

Having done with waving Indian flag at the Moto3 World Championship, Mahindra Racing team reported that this is their last season in the respective racing event and they won’t compete for next year. The reason behind the withdrawal has been known as the company’s intention to turn their focus towards the FIA Formula E Championship where the team is performing quite well.

The 2016 season made for a delightful span for the Indian racing team when they bagged 13 podium finishes and three wins in the competition. That came after seven years of experience in the same racing streak but now, as we have come to know, the team is more inclined towards a bright future in Formula E Championship. The company spokesperson said, in a statement, that this electric vehicle racing league has given the company a platform for making people aware of their capabilities and expertise on a global level.

On the overall performance chart of Formula E championship, Mahindra Racing team is in the third position which is an indication that withdrawing from the bike racing event might prove to be a right decision for the company in long run. After this season, the team will continue its assistance to Aspar team and its two partnering teams CIP and Peugeot Saxoptrint in the Moto3 Championship.
