The homegrown bikemaker Hero MotoCorp has been on top for long and the bygone year was no different. Hero MotoCorp sales of 2017 have taken aback the whole industry as it crossed the 7 lakh units sales milestone. To be precise, the company garnered sales of 7,207,363 units in the year 2017 which made it lead on the list of top two-wheeler sellers in India yet again.

The brand has acquired the crucial trust among customers and every second Indian buyer aspires to own a Hero. That’s because the motorcycles churned out from the company are frugal in terms of maintenance and deliver amazing high fuel efficiency while the after sales service of Hero is also pretty prompt.

Hero MotoCorp ended the year on a high note as the most prominent growth was witnessed in the month of December. Where the company sold 330,202 units in December 2016, sales of the same month this year went on to touch the figure of 472,731. This accounts for as much as 43 percent growth which is unmatchable.

Although the company already has a great line up of products in its yard, it never fails to keep upgrading them. Just recently Hero MotoCorp introduced a string of three new offerings which includes the 125cc Super Splendor, Passion Pro, and Passion XPro. All of them have been upgraded in terms of features and refinement.

On the achievement, the CEO of the company Pawan Munjal said, “The year 2017 has been a landmark year in our strategic endeavor to further consolidate our market leadership. Despite the challenging industry environment, we successfully created a series of benchmarks, not only for the Indian market but also for the global automotive industry.”
