Get Ready To See BMW F 750 GS & F 850 GS At Auto Expo 2018

The German brand will be showcasing a lineup of its offerings at the Auto Expo 2018 along with the launch of BMW F 750 GS & F 850 GS
BMW F 850 GSBMW definitely sees huge potential in the Indian market which is why it is launching products back to back after setting up the dealership here. And this time it will be the adventure tourer twins, the BMW F 750 GS and F 850 GS which are all set to be launched at the Auto Expo 2018. The pair will be the most affordable offerings in the BMW lineup present in India.

Although new to this country, the motorcycles are the successors of the older versions sold internationally. The new bikes have seen a major overhaul in terms of design, suspension and chassis. The motorcycles are now lighter in weight and offer much more stylish looks and practicality. The BMW F 750 GS and F 850 GS are powered by the same engine but both have been tuned differently to serve according to their purpose.

The BMW F 850 GS is inclined towards off-roading and the F 750 GS is a road-focussed motorcycle. Accordingly, the former comes with spoked wheels and the latter boasts of blacked out alloy wheels. Also, the front suspensions on both the bikes are different with the 43mm travel Upside down forks doing duty on the F 850 GS upfront and 41mm Telescopic forks suspending the front wheels on the F 750 GS. The older versions of the bike consist of fuel tank below the seat which have now been shifted behind handlebar for better geometry.

Powering both the bikes is the same 853cc parallel twin engine which produces 77 BHP of power and 83 Nm of torque on the F 750 GS and 85 BHP and 82 Nm on the F 850 GS. The German bikemaker has packed a plethora of electronics on both the adventure tourers same as it does for all its motorcycles. Both the bikes come with electronics such as ABS, ASC, multiple riding modes and adjustments for the suspensions. Other obvious functions are multi-LED lights and multi-function instrument cluster.
