Say hello to the 2018 Ducati Hypermotard 939 which carries an all new paint scheme, different than the current version. Right now, the Italian bikemaker offers this versatile Supermoto bike in a single shade dipped in red colour along with the red frame and black alloys. For next year, the company has revealed the beautified version of the motorcycle and the 2018 Ducati Hypermotard 939 will be available in Star White Silk colour scheme with the same red frame but, the wheels will boast of a dazzling red shade. The current red option will continue to be offered.

The Ducati Hypermotard 939 is available in two variants including a standard trim and the SP version. Carrying the same engine, both the versions come with varied cycle parts and a few tweaks in the dimension. Where the standard Hypermotard is suspended by the 170mm travel Kayaba front fork and 150mm travel Sachs monoshock at the rear, the SP variant, on the other hand, offers Ohlins USD forks with 150mm travel at the front and fully adjustable Ohlins monoshock with 175mm travel at the rear. The difference also lies in the weight of both the models as the former weighs 181 kg dry while the latter tips the scale at 178 kg.

As for the dimensions, the Ducati Hypermotard 939 SP has been made sportier and is based on the chassis which stands slightly higher as compared to the standard model which makes its seat height settle at 890mm. The standard Hypermotard accommodates the rider at the height of 850mm. With the distinctions in a few aspects, the core of both the models is similar with the 937cc Testastretta, 11-degree, L-twin engine. This unit generates 110 HP of power and 95 Nm of torque with the engine being Euro IV compliant.

In India, Ducati has established dealerships in five cities including Delhi NCR, Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Kochi and we expect this new 2018 Ducati Hypermotard 939 will be available at all these points as soon as it gets launched internationally.
